Adding video gaming to your establishment can seem like a stressful process. It doesn’t have to be. Our professionals will work with you to make the process as seamless as possible. Let our experienced staff walk you through the rules and regulations needed for licensure. IGS has assisted over 200 clients in the submission of a variety of licensing applications and other requirements.

Make sure your establishment has an “on-premise” liquor license, meaning you can serve alcohol at the establishment, unless you are a truck stop which must meet different qualifications.

Fill out the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) Location Application online.

Every direct owner of an establishment must get fingerprinted. Visit one of the three approved companies to complete this requirement:

Once the gaming application is completed and submitted, the IGB will contact you to conduct a site visit. An IGS representative will prepare you for and will attend the site visit.?

The IGS layout and design team visit your establishment for an evaluation and discuss recommendations and options.

The IGB will conduct site visit.

IGS finalizes gaming area layout.

The IGB will need to approve your submitted application. The IGB typically meets once a month during which qualified applications are approved.

Build out of the gaming area is completed along with electrical and camera system installation.

Machines are installed by IGS technicians.

SciGames, who provides real-time communication and control between every licensed video gaming terminal in Illinois, will set up a 14-day window for installation of their equipment.

The IGB and SciGames coordinate a time to turn on the machines.

Machines will go live allowing for the start of your video gaming venture.
