Central Illinois has met the threshold to be the next region in the state to fall under tighter restrictions aimed at controlling the spread of COVID-19. According to IDPH, the new restrictions will begin at 12:01 AM on Wednesday, November 4
Region 2 includes Bureau, Fulton, Grundy, Henderson, Henry, Kendall, Knox, La Salle, Livingston, Marshall, McDonough, McLean, Mercer, Peoria, Putnam, Rock Island, Stark, Tazewell, Warren and Woodford counties.
Wednesday will mark all 11 of the state’s Restore Illinois plan regions under mitigation restrictions.
